FAQ
Short answers to the questions owners actually ask. If yours is not here, write hello@brokenbranchstudio.com.
The audit
What do I get if I request an audit?
A short write-up of specific problems on your current site. The findings are meant to be checkable — you should be able to confirm them yourself without a login or a sales call.
Is the audit free?
Yes. Requesting one does not create an obligation to hire us.
Do you need my passwords or hosting login?
No. The audit is built from public information about the site you submit. We do not ask for logins through this website.
What if my site is fine?
A page can load and still fail to name the work or ask someone to call. If there is nothing checkable, we do not invent a write-up. Vague findings are worse than none.
How long does it take?
We review requests in the order they arrive and follow up by email. Timing depends on volume. If you have not heard back within a few business days, write us.
The work
What happens after the audit?
You read the findings. If they match what you are seeing in the business, we recommend one next step. If we are not the right next step, you still have the audit.
What does the work cover?
Whatever the audit supports — a few repairs the current site can take, or a new website for the pages people use to find you, understand the work, and call. The page list is written before paid work starts. Extra pages are listed separately. Pages we do not rebuild will still look as they do today.
Do you do web design?
Yes. We design those pages from what the audit found. We do not sell a look without the read.
When does paid work start?
Only after a written agreement is in place and the required deposit is received. A form submission is not an agreement.
Who owns the domain, hosting, and analytics?
You do. Accounts stay in your name. We operate only as a delegated user. Nothing is registered under Broken Branch Studio. We do not host client sites.
Do you change email DNS?
No. We do not touch mail records. Web DNS only, and that is stated in writing before any move.
Care after launch
What is the care plan?
You are no longer the website person. We watch the pages people use to call, test the phone link and the form each month, make ordinary small changes, and send a report that does not skip. Care is not hosting. Care is not SEO. A new page is separate work.
Do you host my website?
No. The host and the domain stay in your name. We operate them as a delegated user. If you leave, you still have the site. You become the website person again.
Is care month-to-month?
Yes. There is no annual lock on the care plan itself. Project terms, including what happens if care ends early, are in the written agreement.
When does monthly billing start?
Thirty days after launch, unless the agreement says otherwise.
What if I need something that is not in the plan?
That is separate work, billed hourly, after you approve it.
Cost
What does this cost?
The audit is free. The work is a project fee. Care is a monthly plan. Exact numbers are given after the audit, when both sides know the work.
Why not list prices here?
Because the right number depends on what the audit finds. Approach states the structure. The agreement states the amount.
Working together
Who is this for?
Owners of small businesses whose sites are not doing the job — people cannot find the business, or they find it and leave before they call, visit, or book.
Where are you based?
Perry, Georgia. The studio is Broken Branch Studio.
How do I start?
Use the audit form. Name, email, and the site URL are enough.
